Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented mid-level Sales Professional to join our team based in Houston (preferred), or remote. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building strong, lasting relationships with customers. You will develop a deep understanding of our customers’ business objectives and establish Innowatts as a key partner by helping them extend the realized business value attained through the Innowatts platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, a consultative approach, and an understanding of our industry to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
    • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day interactions and proactively addressing client needs.
  • SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned market segments and territories.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
    • Utilize networking, research, and outreach to identify potential prospects and qualify leads.
  • PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND PRESENTATION
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products/services to effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective clients.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • SALES STRATEGY & PLANNING
    • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies for growth in assigned regions or accounts.
    • Collaborate with Sales Managers to align on strategic goals and provide regular updates on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure consistent messaging and enhance customer experience.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams to inform product improvements and address evolving client needs.
  • REPORTING & ANALYTICS
    • Track and report on key sales metrics, including revenue, client acquisition, and account retention.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the energy sector or SaaS environment, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product value and address customer needs.
    • A customer-centric approach focused on understanding client pain points and delivering tailored solutions.
      o Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with Office360 and Google Suite products.
    • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads, tracking progress, and analyzing performance.
    • Basic data analysis skills for interpreting sales metrics and customer data.
